Yeah--that's what the end of my post is about (I had forgotten he did that, and then THAT was the PL they selected).

ah ha, missed your point. Yep, I think we solved the great cow bell mystery. Bet you know this one though - what famous guest became the Grateful Dead for one night and played cowbell?

Sorry, late to your question, BUT please trust that woulda been my answer! I even have an old pic of him doing it...
Was it "last nights" at FWest? I think so (ie, around July, 71 seq of shows...but not sure).
